In the rain (5)

Falun Gong

This photograph was taken about 40 meters from where I took the previous one of a desperate looking man. I turned around and I looked at the Chinese brothers and sisters of the Falun Gong [ Wiki ] with a completely different attitude towards rain. Most of us here in rainy Amsterdam look at rain as something unpleasant or disruptive. The Chinese just stand there – hands in the air – as though infinite blessings are raining down on them. They are highly spiritual souls and at the same time practical enough to bring enough rain protection gear.
